Rock!

I wasn’t around for Oxegen this year so I went to Rock Werchter in Belgium instead.
I have to say, it was true to its name and rocked! The following is a little table of the Pros and Cons of Oxegen and Rock Werchter. Keep in mind, what I think were Pros other may see as Cons and vice versa.

A quick breakdown of the bands I saw, how well I knew them and how much they rocked.

| Snow Patrol | 9 | 9 | Very moving performance |
| The Killers | 6 | 6 | I didn't have much hope for them and knew none of the stuff from their new album. I suspect they weren't actually playing |
| Keane | 3 | 8 | Great crowd interaction, knew hardly nay of their songs but wouldn't mind getting to know them better and seeing them again |
| The Chemical Brothers | 8 | 8 | Probably the biggest and best club I've ever been to |
| Mastodon | 0 | 3 | I'd never heard of them, they were a pretty basic metal act |
| The Kooks | 3 | 5 | Nothing Spectacular |
| Interpol | 8 | 8 | Another great act, I'd heard they were poor live but I liked them allot |
| Incubus | 4 | 8 | Another great Act that I'd like to see again |
| Metallica | 6 | 9 | Absolutely superb. Visuals weren't as good as Keane or Muse but the Fireworks and Pyrotechnics more than made up for it |
| Faithless | 5 | 8 | Only stayed for a few songs but I got to shake Maxi Jazz's hand. Nice to see them at least once |
Overall I think it was a quality gig and would very seriously consider coming back next year, even though I’ll have to fly over.
