Gmail Filter Tweak

I am subscribed to a bunch of mailing lists and I want one Gmail filter rule to add a label to all of them.
What I want is:
Matches: from:(cool.haxx.se OR apple.com) OR to:(beatniksoftware.com OR gnome.org)
But unfortunately I can’t specify the OR operator between the from:() and to:().
To achieve the desired result I entered the following in the From: box for Search Criteria:
cool.haxx.se OR apple.com) OR to:(beatniksoftware.com OR gnome.org
Looks like someone isn’t sanitising their inputs.
Anyway, it works a charm.

Very clever, and useful hack. An argument not to make your code like Fort Knox; leave a little room for the hackers and modders and you never know what they’ll come up with.
